Membership with MEEDA
Being part of MEEDA is an integral part of staying in touch with diverse professionals of the healthcare team, learning about the latest evidence in the literature on eating disorders, and keeping up to date with workshops in the regions. We offer three types of memberships.
Professional membership reflects high standard of medical or paramedical knowledge. Individuals with a postgraduate-level qualification who have worked in the fields of psychology, psychiatry, medicine, nutrition, dietetics, nursing, social work, or any relevant field for a minimum of 2 years are welcome to apply for this membership.
Benefits of this membership include a quarterly newsletter, 25% off MEEDA trainings, and discounts on selected international conferences.
Regular membership reflects individuals who are currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program and individuals who have completed and earned a relevant undergraduate degree who are neither practicing in a relevant field nor enrolled in a relevant postgraduate program.
Benefits of this membership include a quarterly newsletter and 25% off MEEDA trainings.
Friends of MEEDA membership
Friends-of-MEEDA membership is available to anyone with an interest in eating disorder who does not hold an applicable qualification (e.g. carers).
A benefit of this membership is the quarterly newsletter.
